All of our products are made with fresh goat's milk instead of powdered dehydrated milk. By using fresh goat's milk, we ensure that all the vitamins and nutrients remain intact, allowing us to transfer all the benefits of this natural moisturizer to your skin.

Powdered milk, although it contains moisturizing properties, has fewer vitamins, nutrients, and natural fats, which reduces its effectiveness once dehydrated.

Fresh goat's milk contains capric and caprylic acids that naturally balance the alkalinity of our skin. The pH of fresh goat's milk, unlike cow's milk or milk from other animals, is the closest to the ideal alkalinity level of human skin.

All our fresh goat's milk suppliers are registered with the Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA). Our farmers adhere to strict standards to ensure that the goats are treated respectfully and have access to outdoor facilities.

Fresh goat's milk is odorless when mixed into the product and does not leave any scent on the skin.

Since we do not know the severity of your allergy, we recommend checking with your doctor before using our products. Even though this is a food-related allergy, we also strongly suggest testing the product on a small area of your skin first.

None of our finished products are tested on animals.

We are proud to manufacture all of our products in Quebec, Canada. Specifically, in our Les Plastiques JETS factory located in Beloeil, Quebec, Canada.

All Caprina goat's milk soaps are made using a traditional saponification process. The soap bar cleanses without stripping away your skin's natural moisture barrier. Additionally, fresh goat's milk is known for being an excellent natural moisturizer that also helps balance the skin’s pH, giving you a radiant and healthy complexion.

Other commercial soaps, commonly referred to as beauty bars, remove your skin's natural hydration during cleansing and then rehydrate with a moisturizing agent. This type of bar leaves your skin constantly needing to rehydrate and requires more care.

All of our lavender line is made with pure lavender oil. As for our other scents, we use fragrances. We also have a fragrance-free line where you can add your own essential oils.

Yes, all of our products are recyclable. We ensure that all of our packaging can be recycled to help protect our planet.

Did you know that some cardboard or plastic containers are rejected at recycling centres because they contain more than one type of recycled material that is incompatible?

To address this issue, all of our cartons feature an eco-friendly barrier instead of using the standard lamination with a plastic layer. Our cartons are 100% recyclable. We have also added perforation lines on the plastic sleeves of our bottles so that the label can be removed from the bottle before recycling.

Yes, all our soap bars are biodegradable.

Yes, we highly recommend trying our fragrance-free product line. They are gentle on the skin, and the benefits of fresh goat's milk will help soothe your irritated skin. While some of our fragrances contain essential oils, we use only a small amount of fragrance in our other scents. If your skin is particularly sensitive to fragrance, we suggest testing our fragrance-free products.

All our products have been tested by dermatologists, they are non-irritating and hypoallergenic. Our lotions, bar soaps, and body washes are all recommended by the dermatology review committee.

Starting in 2025, you will be able to find four of our products in travel size—Body Wash, Lotion, Shampoo, and Bar Soap—in select pharmacies, grocery stores, and airport travel shops across Canada.

In order to avoid supply chain issues, we temporarily had to change manufacturers, which explains the slightly different shape, the absence of the logo, and the colour variation. The weight in grams per box and the quality of the soap have never changed.

Our soap bars are made from tallow and/or a vegetable base. There is a slight colour difference between the two bases, which may explain why the soap appears beige or more whitish at times. However, the moisturizing and cleansing properties are identical in both cases.

Good news! This issue has now been resolved as we have started manufacturing our soap bars in-house! Depending on your location, you should begin to see the soap bars with the Caprina logo and its familiar shape reappearing.

Although our soaps are not specifically designed for this use, they can be used on the face. Our soap bars are non-comedogenic, meaning they won't clog your pores.
If you have very sensitive facial skin, we suggest testing on a small area of your cheek before washing your entire face. Facial use is a personal choice for each individual.

Yes, for children 2 years and older. It is recommended to use baby-specific products for children under 2 years old.

To optimize your experience with Caprina Bubble Bath we suggest pouring desired quantity directly under running water and gently stirring the bathwater with your hands. This helps dissolve the product and increases the amount of bubbles.
